BOOKING DETAILS

Please note only those named when booking can stay on site, name changes would need to be agreed in advance and with 48 hours notice.

TOILETS & SHOWERS

Please take care of our facilities and leave them as you find them to keep everything clean and tidy for others.

We have our original Shower Shack (purpose-built by Nick in 2020) which includes a large shower and compost toilet. There is also an outside washing up area. This was in the middle of the site but is being re-sited to the Paddock in the next few weeks.

We are also currently installing a second Shower Shack, including a compost toilet, which will be sited next to Maylea Pool.

We also have one other compost toilet.

During Covid restrictions, we must operate a rota system for use of the showers when more than one family is staying with us.

Please book on using the rota sheet provided at the Shower Shack.  This will enable us to clean in between uses.

Please use sanitiser before and after entry and help us to keep the area clean.

VISITORS

Only you and your party are permitted on-site, no visitors allowed.

STAFF WORKING HOURS

The owners and staff are available between 8am and 6pm every day. The Owners and Staff are available outside these hours for emergencies only.

HAZARDS & CHILDREN

We are family-friendly, but the site has many natural hazards, please be always aware of these and act responsibly.

Children must be accompanied and always supervised.

The new play area is for young children, under the age of 10 years old.  Please ensure the equipment is used responsibly.  All play equipment is used at your own risk.

CARS

Cars must always remain on the car park.  Under no circumstances are vehicles allowed on the bank of the lake.

DOGS

Dogs must be always kept on leads.  This is an especially important rule and is there to protect the livestock in surrounding fields and for the safety of other campers.  If you do not adhere to this rule, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the site.

If you are booking any of the pre-erected tents, please note that dogs are NOT allowed inside the pre-erected tent.  Dogs can either sleep outside, or you may put up a small doggy tent next to the tent. If you do not adhere to this rule, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the site.

BBQs

Our BBQs are gas-fuelled.  If a BBQ is included with your pitch, or if you have hired a BBQ, please ensure you use it safely and clean it after use.

If you are bringing your own disposable BBQ, please ensure it is off the ground in one of the fire pits or on a brick, so it does not burn the grass.  Do not put these in the bins unless they are completely cool.

FIRES

Campfires are included, but we reserve the right to prohibit fires in certain weather conditions if we deem it unsafe.

You must act responsibly when having a campfire and never leave the fire unattended, nor leave children alone by the fire without supervision.

You must only use the bagged logs provided to you – do not collect wood from around the site or use your own.

Do not burn rubbish on your fire.

Do not make a fire anywhere other than your designated campfire stone ring or log burner.

RUBBISH & RECYCLING

Please collect all your rubbish and use the rubbish bins as appropriate, separating recyclable items like bottles, cans, and plastics so we can all do our bit to look after our planet!

NOISE, BEHAVIOUR & DAMAGES

We are a small and quiet site and wish to keep it this way!  We want you to enjoy your time here, but please ensure you and your family/friends remain respectful to the lake, owners, and other campers at all times.

Please keep noise to a minimum and ensure children are always supervised.

There is strictly no admittance to the private bank of the lake, where the owners live.

If you are staying in one of our pre-erected tents, please take care of it and our other equipment.

We do not charge a damages deposit and trust in you to look after our site and the equipment provided, however, we do reserve the right to charge for any damages.
