All vehicles must remain in the car park at all times. Wheelbarrows are available in the car park to assist in transporting your luggage to your pitch. We will also be on hand to assist you.

You must have vacated the pitch by 11:00 am on the day of your departure.

Please note only those named when booking can stay on site, name changes would need to be agreed in advance and with 48 hours notice.

Please take care of our facilities and leave them as you find them to keep everything clean and tidy for others.

We have our original Shower Shack (purpose-built by Nick in 2020) which includes a large shower and compost toilet in the Paddock area to service 'bring your own tent' campers. This shack also includes an outside washing up area and rubbish / recycling bins.

There is a second Shower Shack next to Maylea Match Pool, which includes an electric shower, sink & compost toilet.  This shower shack is positioned to service any other guests staying around the Lake & Pool.

We also have one other compost toilet near to the Tiny Tea Room (coming soon!)

Only you and your party are permitted on-site, no other visitors allowed.

The owners and staff are available between 8am and 6pm every day.  Please do not disturb them outside of these times unless in the case of an emergency.

We are family-friendly, but the site has many natural hazards, please be always aware of these and act responsibly.

Children must be accompanied and always supervised.

The new play area is for young children, under the age of 10 years old.  Please ensure the equipment is used responsibly.  All play equipment is used at your own risk.

Cars must always remain on the car park.  Under no circumstances are vehicles allowed on the bank of the lake.

Dogs must be always kept on leads.  This is an especially important rule and is there to protect the livestock in surrounding fields and for the safety of other campers.  If you do not adhere to this rule, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the site.

If you are booking any of the pre-erected tents or cabins, please note that dogs are not allowed inside the tents or cabins. Dogs can either sleep outside, or you may put up a small doggy tent next to the tent / crate near to the cabin. If you do not adhere to this rule, we will ask you to leave the site.

Our BBQs are fuelled by gas. If a BBQ is included with your pitch, or if you have hired a BBQ, please ensure you use it safely and clean it after use.  If you are bringing your own disposable BBQ, please ensure it is off the ground in one of the fire pits or on a brick, so it does not burn the grass.  Do not put these in the bins until they are completely cool.

Campfires are included, but we reserve the right to prohibit fires in certain weather conditions if we deem it unsafe.

You must act responsibly when having a campfire and never leave the fire unattended, nor leave children alone by the fire without supervision.

You must only use the bagged logs provided to you, we do not allow any wood other than our logs to be burned on site.  Do not collect wood from around the site or use your own.  Do not burn rubbish on your fire.  Do not make a fire anywhere other than your designated campfire stone ring or log burner.

Please collect all your rubbish and use the rubbish bins as appropriate, separating recyclable items like bottles, cans, and plastics so we can all do our bit to look after our planet!

We are a small and quiet site and wish to keep it this way!  We want you to enjoy your time here, but please ensure you and your family/friends remain respectful to the lake, owners, and other campers at all times.  Please keep noise to a minimum and ensure children are always supervised.

There is strictly no admittance to the private section of the lake bank where the owners live.

We charge a £75 damages deposit on booking which will be refunded to you within 2 days of departure, provided everything has been left as it should be.

Strictly no fishing without the purchase of a fishing ticket and a valid rod licence. Fishing information available here.  If fishing, please adhere to the Fishery Rules.

For your own safety, there is strictly no swimming, or paddling in the lake or stream unless pre-agreed. It may be possible to use your own kayaks etc on the water by pre-agreement only and there are no fishermen on site.
