We are so pleased to say that we have finally been granted permission to allow us to have a very special & secluded campsite at the lake! We love our lake and will soon be living there ourselves, so to be able to share this wonderful space and our love for CAMPING and the OUTDOORS with other like-minded people is incredibly exciting.
We now have permission for 8 camping pitches and to convert the existing half built steel frame barn into a toilet and shower block, with amenity space upstairs. It will be family friendly, but a quiet and secluded campsite, with the very few pitches well spread out across the site; nestled within the trees, or by the water, allowing you to fully appreciate the ambience of the area and enabling you to really feel at one with NATURE.
Not only will the conversion of the barn enable us to have a great, little campsite, but it will also significantly improve the facilities at the Lake for our Anglers. DISABILITY FRIENDLY! The toilets/showers will all have full disabled user access, which is very important to us. We also have plans to create several wheelchair friendly fishing pegs on the lake, with suitable paths to enable everyone to be able to access and enjoy it.
It has taken several months to obtain this planning permission and we have had to jump through many hoops, but we are very pleased to have finally got there and can't wait to get started. We may open for RUSTIC CAMPING over the Summer and plan to start developing the barn in the Autumn with the aim of being fully operational for SPRING 2019. Watch this space for updates!
