Named after one of the birds frequently spotted here, Treecreeper's Rest is nestled between the paddock and small pool. A small stream runs alongside the site with a small bridge giving you quick access to the small pool.

How many does it sleep?

Treecreeper's Rest comes with a super cool elevated Tree Tent, which has 3 small sleeping areas.  Adventurous adults & children love sleeping up here, however, for those who don't fancy it, there is also an adjoining Tipi style tent which incudes 2 double air beds and one single air bed.

Though it could sleep more if each sleeping area was used, we only allow a maximum of 5 guests (2 adults and 3 children) on this pitch & they can choose which part they sleep in.

What equipment does it have?

Treecreeper's Rest is equipped with everything you could possibly need! Crockery & cutlery, sharp knives and chopping boards, wine glasses, washing up liquid, cups, tea towels, matches, and a little undercover kitchen shack complete with gas BBQ & camping stove, cooking oil, tea/coffee & sugar.

What more could you need?

Oh yes - your campfire!  The tent comes with 2 fire options!  There is an outside log burner on the decking area plus a stone ring campfire surrounded by logs stumps for seats next to the stream.  We provide a large sack of kiln-dried logs (from local HETAS accredited business Logalog) to ensure a low smoke, perfect campfire experience for each night of your stay.  Additional bags can be purchased on site for £16.50.

Is Fishing available?

Fishing isn't just available, it is included in the price!  Complimentary use of the nearest two fishing pegs on the family friendly Maylea Pool are included with each night's stay (max 2 anglers at any time).  However, you must adhere to our fishing rules and ensure everyone has a valid fishing licence.  Please let us know at the time of booking if you will be fishing.

Are there any facilities nearby?

There is no electricity and no water on this pitch - it is back to basics!  However, the shower shack (which also has an outside sink for washing dishes) is a short walk away.

We also have a sociable area with small shelter, comfy seats and games that anyone is able to use during the daytime only.  This area is not permitted to be used in the evenings & is reserved for any special events.
