Colehurst Lake, a family-friendly glamping site & fishery, is family owned and run by Holly & Nick, with their young daughter Rosina on hand to play with any willing young guests!

Colehurst Lake is the perfect place to escape, discover and unwind. Set in the idyllic and beautiful countryside of Shropshire we are easily accessible. but still surrounded by fields and woodland.

There is also a fantastic little smokehouse restaurant that has opened just across the A41, within walking distance or a short drive away, which serves great quality American style food and has a small bar area for drinks.

We are a small and quiet site with a limited number of guests.  We are not a typical glamp- site.  You will not come here and be crammed into a tiny space with many other people.  It is really important to us that our guests feel like they have their own space and can really escape from every day life.  Our cabins are well spaced and we expect our guests to respect everyone else's space and privacy.  If you do not want to do this, this is not the place for you.

We currently have 2 cabins available to rent, with three others in the planning, across our 8 acre site.

The two spring-fed pools, Colehurst Carp Lake and Maylea Match Pool, were originally formed in 1990 and have been restored over the last four years.  Stocked with carp, perch, roach & pike, we are a great location for a fishing holiday.
